Confidentiality and security notes

The report is only accessible to you and to the body in charge of Whistleblowing of the BasicNet Group’s company. Through this platform you can send a report in a safe and confidential way.

Confidential report: by confidential report we mean a report in which the reporter is identifiable. Confidential reports provide for the preliminary user registration and subsequently, once the account is created, the user can send the report. The reporter’s data are separated from the report therefore the confidential report is sent to the body in charge of Whistleblowing anonymously. Only the body in charge of Whistleblowing is able to associate the report to the reporter’s data and therefore view its identity.

This platform guarantees the confidentiality and security of the information: all the contents you entered, including your identity are encrypted and can be read exclusively by you and the receiving party of the reports (body in charge of whistleblowing).

Once the report has been sent, you can follow its development and continue to communicate with the person in charge of whistleblowing through the messages area, associated with the report. In this case all information is encrypted and protected by the platform as well. If you have indicated an email address, you will receive a notification via email, when the manager will send you a message. In any case, we recommend that you periodically access your report to check the presence of any requests for clarifications from the body in charge of whistleblowing. For greater confidentiality, we advise you not to use a corporate email address.

When sending the report as a registered user, your identity also remains hidden from the body in charge of whistleblowing who in any case will have the right to view it if it deems it necessary. In this case you will be informed by a notice within the report.

For greater confidentiality we suggest you:

  • do not enter personal data that could trace your identity in the description of the reported fact;
  • do not use a corporate email address for registration or to receive notifications from the system;
  • do not send a report from your workstation.
